Why Delivering Your Message Through An Interactive Webinar Adds To Your Signature Experience
Delivering your message through a safe and secure environment such as an online webinar enhances your signature experience for your attendees.
I have spoken at great length over the last few weeks about how important your message is in attracting customers. That message evolves from the content that you must create around the 3 core pillars of your business. Those pillars are broken down into 9 sub-pillars and this is the place to start with content creation.
The sub-pillars are the steps that you want to take your ideal customer on in the form of a journey to realisation. This is where they are going to achieve the outcome that they want from your overall training package. Today I am going to focus on this process along the process of delivering your message through webinar which will form part of your marketing material.
Before I look at the structure for that webinar, I want to concentrate on creating content around those important 9 sub-pillars.
Delivering Your Message Through Blog Posts & Videos
The process I am taking you though is the same process that my Build Your AU mastermind members go through. Your authority business model should be in prime position in your home office for you to constantly reference to. You have your 3 core pillars and each one has branches coming away from them. Those branches are the elements that make up each individual pillar. These are what you are not going to focus on and create content around.
My preferred method of content delivery is through video and I am asking you to create a video around each sub-pillar. In this case the video comes after you have created a blog post of around 1500 words that relates to the topic of each sub-pillar.
When creating this blog post much of the content will come to you effortlessly. Saying that there will be an element of research that needs to be done just so you are 100% accurate on your message. So, you will create a blog post that is structured like the one you are currently reading.
You will then publish it on your authority website, or blog, but the process doesn’t stop there. Then you will create a short 5-minute video which refers to your blog post and publish it on your other platforms. Platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Twitter etc. This is intended to drive people back to your authority site where you have more value to deliver.
Whilst on your authority site the visitor will naturally discover any products and services you provide. This is a natural process, so individuals don’t feel pressured or they are being sold. If you have followed me long enough then you will know that I advocate leading with value and then receiving back, further down the line.
The 9 Day Video Series
The 9 videos that you create will get organic traffic to them but there is more that you can do with them. You can repurpose this content and create a 9-video series as a lead magnet to your core offer. This is exactly what I have done with previous mastermind sessions with my members.
You will see a link to this at the bottom of this page and it is designed to generate leads for my business. The offer is free, but it provides lots of value for the people who register, and they get to experience the mastermind in action. You could also use this series as a lead into the webinar that you are going to create for your training package.
As you can see this post is focused on you taking action to move things forward. Up to now there has been a lot of planning, research and soul searching. You have discovered things about yourself that possibly would have stayed dormant if you had gone through this process.
It is what I like to call “where the rubber hits the road”. We need to get the wheels moving forward now and for traction to take effect. You may have been feeling uneasy about doing the webinar that I have mentioned but this must be done. Otherwise what is the point of getting to this stage if you are not going to see it through.
Comfort zones and barriers are there to be broken and I realise that this may be causing you some levels of anxiety. That is perfectly natural and the process that I am going to take you through will help to ease those fears. So, if you are ready then let’s get your wheels moving!
Your Authority Model Webinar
This is a challenge that I have set to all my Build Your AU mastermind members and initially it revolves around you. Your story is prominent my recommendation is that you lead with an extract of your signature experience. I have talked about this in previous posts and used the example of my signature experience which is meditation.
Although you must introduce you to your audience you must be mindful to make your webinar powerful and about your audience. They are there because they are interested in what you have to say but ultimately what’s in it for them.
Your webinar is where you are going to introduce them to your training package so you must create impact and engagement. One of the best methods to achieve this is to involve the people who are attending. Your webinar is ideally going to last around 40 minutes it is vital that it’s not all about the spoken word.
Set activities for the attendees to participate in and this doesn’t have to be complicated. We had a lady just recently who simply asked the people on the webinar to hold up a post in note. On the post it notes she asked where everyone was from which immediately created interest.
Why Hot Seating Is So Powerful
You will find that your attendees will be from all around the world which is possible due to technology. Then you can create huge engagement through a process that I call “hot seating”. This is where you call a person out and ask them some specific around the pillars of your business. Although sometimes people are anxious about stepping out the truth is that they enjoy it as well. It makes them feel special, but it also creates a discussion amongst the group as well.
The chat box explodes with questions and people putting forward ideas which helps you as the host. It helps because other people are creating the content for your webinar which means it not all down to you.
When you are wrapping up your webinar there is something that you must do. Depending on the purpose of your webinar will determine what call to action you give. The important thing is to give that call to action which could be the link to your authority site or your training package. This part you must make very clear!
This is the structure of delivering your message though the content you create. It is a formula that has worked well for me and my mastermind members. I understand how daunting this may sound but it is the only way that you will make an impact and move forward.
