The last few articles I have created will give you an overview of what my 9-week program is all about. Today I want to look at how to deliver online training and future posts will look at the strategic side to build an online training business.

Now there are two ways to deliver online training and various platforms you can leverage. The first example is what you give away for free and the second example is where you charge.
Free Online Training
Now it may sound strange to give away value for free, but it is one of the most powerful marketing strategies that you can use. You always want to lead with value as the old saying implies that you give before you receive.
Therefore, the free way to deliver online training is through value driven content that is used to attract and build your audience. I speak more about this within my previous post on developing a personal brand content strategy.
Using this method, you can create valuable training information that highlights certain problems that people are facing. This is used to make create awareness and engagement with your audience and also to create a relationship with them.
You create this free online training through articles, videos and creating free resources such as eBooks and reports. Adopting this strategy forces your audience to scratch an itch that they are experiencing, the problem they are facing. It is designed to give some form of relief but not the full cure.
Paid Online Training
This is the cure that you give your audience, the permanent solution which also gives ongoing support. The previous section highlights the problem, but your paid online training is the fix of all fixes.
This is a step-by-step solution, a roadmap so to speak to get people from where they are now to where they want to be. This is the how and what you can charge a premium for and something that people are more than prepared to pay for.
This will be your online training and coaching program which is based upon your expertise. You leverage text, video, audio as formats to create your online coaching program. Also, you create tools and resources that accompany the core education and training that you provide within your program.
This is your intellectual property that will put money in your bank and create a lifestyle you are looking for.
So, there is a clear difference between the online training you give away and the online training you charge for. I show you how to do this within the Build Your AU 9-week program.
Platforms To Deliver Your Online Training
Here I want to clarify what platforms you can leverage to deliver your online training, the free and what you charge for. When you combine them, you will create an eco-system around your business that predominantly works on autopilot.

Your authority website will be your main publishing channel and something that you must have in place. I say must because it helps create a credible and authoritative presence online.

As I say your authority website will be where you deliver most of your free online training and content. However, you will be utilising video hosting platforms and social media to deliver free value and online training to create that all important awareness.
Your authority website and other platforms will work together to create that eco-system of value driven content and training. I will show you how to put this eco-system together within the 9-week program.
Paid Content Delivery Platform
I have a specific platform that I use for all my online training programs and I will introduce you to that within the 9-week program. Basically, you must create an automated system for delivery of your paid content and training.
It is another eco-system that is fully automated to take payments, create accounts and then deliver the content. All of this is password protected because all of you intellectual property will be hosted here.
