Persona Branding Ideas – What Is A Professional-Level Personal Brand?

A professional-level personal brand is much more than a simple online presence. It speaks to who you are as a person, what you want to achieve, and who you want to be for your company.

It’s a storytelling technique that has been used by brands for decades to connect with their audience and influence the way they feel about their product or service.

A strong personal brand will help you stand out in a crowded field. It will show employers who you really are, and earn you respect from the industry. It will also make you more confident, help you land your dream job and advance your career.

A professional-level personal brand is something that goes beyond just what you look like and what you post online. It also includes your reputation, the network of people you know, and your unique skills and abilities. It’s a combination of your online presence and your offline skills and abilities.

Step 1: Make A List Of Your Current Strengths & Weaknesses

One of the first things you should do before you start building your brand is figure out what your strengths and weaknesses are. Ideally, you want to focus on your strengths. However if you have any major weaknesses, you can work on improving them, too.

Think about your career history, your education, and your skills.

  • First – What have you done that you’re proud of?
  • Second – What has your career been like so far?
  • Third – What are you passionate about?
  • Fourth – What can you offer employers that other candidates can’t?
  • Fifth – What do you believe in?
  • Finally – What will make your brand memorable?

You don’t have to have it all figured out yet because you’ll be building your brand as you go along. However having a general idea of your strengths and weaknesses will help you decide what to focus on.

Step 2: Determine What You Want To Be Known For

Once you know your strengths and weaknesses, you need to decide what you want to be known for. You don’t have to be known for everything, but you do need to be known for something.

If you’re still struggling to decide what you want to be known for, try thinking about these questions:

Ask yourself – What?

  • Do you find yourself talking about the most?
  • Questions do people ask you the most?
  • Are you passionate about?
  • Do you know a lot about?
  • Kind of work do you want to do?
  • Do your friends and family members know you for?
  • Are your biggest strengths?
  • Are your hobbies and interests?
  • Do you want to be known for?
  • Cause do you care about and want to promote?
  • Makes you different from everybody else?

What you want to be known for doesn’t have to be something huge, but it does have to be something that makes you stand out from the crowd.

Step 3: Decide Which Platforms Are Most Important To You

When it comes to personal branding, the platform you choose to build your brand on is important. You want to choose platforms that you enjoy, that best fit your personality, and that make you stand out from the crowd.

Let’s look at a few of the most common personal branding platforms. You need to decide which platforms are most important to you. If you want to build your personal brand on more than one platform, you certainly can.

It’s better to spread yourself out a little too much than to be too focused on one platform.

Beyond these platforms, you may also want to consider building your personal brand on other channels. channels such as your blog, LinkedIn, or even an email marketing list.

Each of these can help you connect with others and reach new audiences, while also developing your personal brand.

Step 4: Pick The Platforms That Are The Most Important To You & Create Content

At this point, you’ve decided on the platforms that are the most important to you it’s time to actually create your content.

Each platform will have its own suggestions for what type of content you should post and how often you should post it.

However in general, you want to create content that paints a picture of who you are as a person. Also how you can benefit your audience, and how you can help solve problems.

It should also be something that will help you grow your network and show potential employers that you are the right fit for their company.

For example, if you decide to focus on Instagram and LinkedIn. You can also post links to helpful articles, industry insights, life lessons, and more.

It’s important to remember you can take advantage of images, videos, and even audio. You have lots of options and you can use a little (or a lot) of everything.

Step 5: Celebrate!

Congratulations! You’ve made it to the end of the journey. Now, all you have to do is celebrate your accomplishment. Take some time to relax, enjoy yourself, and pat yourself on the back for what you’ve achieved.

You deserve it! If you’ve created your brand during your free time, you probably don’t have a ton of free time left. However don’t worry.

You don’t have to build your brand in one day. You can take as long as you need, and there is no rule that says you can’t start building it as soon as today!
