Tools Are Required To Create A Unique Experience For Your Customers

In this article Trish Davies explores which tools are required for your customers to give them the best experience possible.

Over the last few weeks, I have building up a picture of how your authority business model can look like. I have talked about building the three pillars that your business will sit upon and how to define them. Also, I have shown you how to break those three pillars down into sub pillars to create a 9-step process. A process that you want to take your customers along so that can achieve their objective.

We are now at a stage where tools are required within each of those pillars and sub pillars. Tools and resources that you can create to enhance your customers experience which also assist them within the process. These tools contain actionable steps that the customer can take, or they can be practical tools the customer can use.

Tools Are Required So Your Customers Can Take Action

Before I get into any specifics take a moment to think about resources that vendors have provided for you to use. It could be an app that the vendor has developed such as a calculator to work out money issues. This was an idea that I out forward to one of my Build Your AU mastermind member.

She was explaining her business model which is focused around the insurance industry. I planted the seed of possible developing some kind of calculation tool which customers can use on her website. Something like this creates engagement and interaction from the person visiting her site but it also provides value.

Also, something like this could be created and offered in exchange for personal details to build a data base of leads.

What Tools Can You Create For Your Customers?

That is an example of an application, but it doesn’t have to be as technical as that. It could be as simple as a word document which people can download and fill in. Just say for example you are creating a modular online video course. At the end of each module you could provide a checklist or worksheet for people to make sure they are staying on track.

Depending on what platform you are using to deliver your content it could be possible to create mini tests. These tests are created through applications that the platform providers provide that need the customer to pass before they move on.

Maybe on a lighter note you could create a quiz which recaps the content of that module. People don’t necessarily need to obtain a pass rate, but they are effective because they help people absorb the information.

How You Can Repurpose Content

Another option could be that you offer audio downloads of the course content. By using video editing software, you can “rip” the audio from the source file. This can be repurposed into an MP3 file which people can download onto their devices. By adopting any, or all, of these practices you are offering more value within your products and services.

Whatever you create it must focus on the user taking action which will help them along the process you are guiding them. If you have been following the previous posts and taking action on them you should have your authority model laid out. Now it is time to look at the pillars and sub pillars that create the customers step by step process.

It is not necessary to build a tool for each step because it could be overwhelming for you and lead to procrastination. Look at the process and define what sections would be enhanced and what tools are required. Then go and create them and slot them into the respective positions.

My Build Your AU Tools & Resources

The image above may be familiar to you by now but there are some added features and enhancements. I have gone through the process I am asking you to go though and identified sections that I feel require additional resources. I have marked them in red to help give you some clarity on how to go about the process.

As you can see it doesn’t have to be a complicated process, but it is important because it gives a clear visualisation of what your business looks like. All my Build Your AU mastermind members find this is an extremely important part to building their business models.

Below this post you will find a registration button for some previous Build Your AU mastermind recordings. By accessing the recordings, you will see the power of the masterminding process and how we can create business models like the one above.

Your business model will be unique to you and one that you will have 100% confidence in taking to the marketplace. A marketplace that contains your ideal customer which you will have clarity on what that person looks like. Your avatar, in other words, will be aligned with the 9 steps of your business model. Therefore it is the perfect solution to their problems.

You can hopefully see that tools are required to enhance your overall authority business model. Those extra resources will make all the difference to your customer and give them a positive outcome.

Helping you build your authenticity, authority and audience.
